- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's phone system - Provide administrative support to the dental office, including managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with front desk duties such as checking patients in and out, verifying insurance information, and collecting payments - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Communicate with patients regarding their appointments, treatment plans, and any necessary follow-up - Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure efficient operation of the office
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment commonly used in dental settings - Knowledge of dental administrative support tasks and procedures - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues - Proficiency in using computer software programs, including electronic dental records systems (such as Dentrix) - Understanding of dental terminology and dental procedures is a plus Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
