Caregivers Wanted!
Nonotuck is seeking well-balanced caregivers to share their home and life with a person with disabilities. The caregiver(s) helps the person with their daily activities, health, wellness, encourages community participation, and promotes a safe and meaningful lifestyle.
Beyond providing care, the shared living provider will develop a meaningful relationship with the person they are sharing their home with. She/he/they will be a roommate and a friend, spending time together, sharing activities, and enjoying a lively and engaged life.
We will consider applicants who live in single family homes or apartments (with an extra bedroom) or are willing to move. We are looking for people who are single, couples, families, people with or without children and pets. No previous experience necessary.

Monthly in-home visits from Nonotuck staff
Access to clinical support
Training available, safety skills, medication management, and First/Aid CPR
24- Hour emergency on-call assistance
Caregivers and their families must be found suitable through a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and National Fingerprint check.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
