Telecommunication Job Duties:
Install and program Avaya IP Office
Run and terminate all types of voice and data cables and terminate per Bicsi code (Cat.3, Cat.5e, and Cat. 6) Fiber is a plus.
Troubleshoot and repair wiring troubles
Troubleshoot and service phone systems
Skills & Knowledge:
Certified in the Avaya IPO
Experience Installing and programming the Avaya IPO
Must have computer skills to resolve DSL troubles
Ability to carry up to 100 lbs
Must be able to work off hours and weekends if needed
Must be on time at all times
Present a positive, professional and respectful image to customers
Must be able follow direction per 3rd party work orders
Ability to fill out sign out sheets correctly and with detail
Must have good customer relations skills
Skills to terminate fiber using the Corning Unicam system is a plus
Ability to program or troubleshoot other phone systems is a plus
Experience with a scissor lift is a plus
Willingness to learn and be trained
No fear of heights (ladders)
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent
College is a plus

Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license & vehicle
Must be able to pass drug testEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
